Day 628 - Transfers: A Green Package from Provo

Hello folks!

So, to start things off, I just gotta say that this is probably going to be short because the internet in the chapel is down so we got permission to email from a members place super fast. Basically to just send an email saying that we are alive haha. I am doing fantastic though! Gosh, I love being a missionary. The longer I stay out here, the more I don't want to come home. I'm telling ya, this is the life. All I have to worry about is preaching the gospel to everyone. That's it. So simple and it feels so good. There is nothing quite like looking a stranger in the eyes that you stopped on the street and telling him that you know with your whole heart that God and Jesus Christ exist when they tell you that they don't. It is the best feeling in the whole world. Also seeing lives change. That makes it all worth it.

Anyways, I'm going to run out of time haha. Transfers! So, it turns out that I will be leaving Gubbängen and my beloved companion Elder Weaver.. :( I'm actually super sad about it.. And not just because I won't have a bench press in my apartment anymore haha. I have made so many good friends here who I will never forget. I have learned so much and grown so much. Stockholm has also won a piece of my heart. Haha by now the whole country has my heart. But yeah. Sooooo these last two transfers I will be ending my mission by training a new missionary! This new missionary is in for a treat because I'm probably going to work him to death ;) I won't be a zone leader anymore so I can completely focus on my area and my work, which I haven't been able to do for a long time. So I'm ready to grind. I vowed that these last two transfers will be the hardest working two transfers of my mission. I'm ready to give it my all and see the miracles that the Lord works through me. There are people to find, teach, and baptize ;) Oh yeah hahaha I will be headed to a city known to the commoners as Västerås. I don't know much about it but I have heard good things! So it will be an adventure!

As far as this week went, we were able to teach William the gospel of Jesus Christ and it went really well! He has decided that he wants to get baptized! He is deciding on a date with his parents and the next time we meet we will set it up! They lesson was good and the spirit was strong! We were also able to meet with a few other investigators and go on splits with two different companionships and I had some crazy spiritual experiences this week that I will never forget!

We had a zone conference this week which was awesome and focused on testimonies. It was super good. My testimony of Joseph Smith was strong before but now it's unshakable. I love that man and I know that he was a true prophet of God! I had the opportunity to bear testimony of him to a man only a day later in Gävle who was yelling in my face saying that Joseph was a fraud and that he lied. I can't describe the feeling in my heart as I boldy testified to that man. I am so lucky to be a witness of these things.

As I just read over one of my best friend's letters, I feel also very thankful in this time of my mission. Thankful for the experiences I have had, for the people I have met, and for the things that I have learned. I also want to express my love for each and every one of you. I honestly love each and every one of you reading this. My friend was completely right when he said that God blesses ou with so many things when you serve him as a missionary, but I think the greatest of all these things is the ability to love others and see them how Heavenly Father does. I really do love and appreciate you all.

Talk to you in Västerås! The church is true!

Love
